Welcome to MYTRAVELREVIEWS!

This is the blog that goes along with the soon to be launched MY TRAVEL REVIEWS podcast.

So just what is this all about?

I have a huge passion for travel, being fortunate to travel all over the world up to two weeks a month both as part of my job (which is the Vice President Global Marketing for a major mulit-national) and also for pleasure. For many years I have been making notes, taking copious pictures and filming small video clips using my digital camera of every hotel room I stay in and places I visit. I also read zillions of books on travel, and an currently researching and writing a book about “Icons and Legends of Travel”.

As I travel about I always take with me my camera, my computer and my iPod. All 3 of these are essential tools for my travels – and so the discovery of podcasting and blogging gave me the inspiration and desire to start sharing my experiences and thoughts.

The podcast will be updated regularly as I travel about the world, and this blog will contain more information and also links and other bits and pieces.

I grew up in Zimbabwe, but I have been based in London since 1987. My travel life spans more than three decades and that includes more than 95 cruises. In 2005, I launched Tips for Travellers to make it easy and fun for people to discover, plan and enjoy incredible cruise vacations. And the rest, as they say, is history. I have the largest cruise vlogger channel currently on YouTube, with more than 3 million video views per month.
