Hilton Hotel Orly Airport Paris France (Review, Photos, Video)

I stayed at the hotel for one night before an early flight to Lisbon.

The hotel is very close to the Orly Oust terminal, although not close enough to walk to. There is a free shuttle bus that runs from 6am to midnight. It only takes a handful of minutes to get to the terminal. Not sure how long to the South Terminal but cannot be more than a few minutes at most.

This hotel overall is fine. It is old fashioned on the outside and revamped on the inside.

Considering they must have pretty much all one nighter’s guests, the staff is welcoming and the letter from the manager when you check-in is a nice touch.

The room (I was in 304) is large. It felt a bit cold on entering as is all very white and light wooden floors (and in my room the air conditioning was freezing!). But it is a practical and unconventional layout. There is a very handy and large working desk with (expensive) internet access, and then behind that is the very comfortable and large bed. The bed was great.

A decent and trendy bathroom too. There is no mini-bar but vending machines on each floor, free water and coffee and tea making in the room.

I had dinner in the buffet restaurant which was perfectly fine, with a good selection across starters, mains and deserts.

Another nice touch is by the lifts are a selection of papers in varying languages.

Overall a pretty decent stay and fairly reasonable. I note they do very good weekend rates, so assume this is very much a business commuter hotel normally.
