SHERATON BRUSSELS: review and video

We stayed here for 2 nights as part of a birthday weekend treat for my Mother. While we were away, I fractured my ankle in an accident I had in the street and the conceirge was an absolute star at helping to arrange ice, then a wheelchair and directions and help to the Accident & Emergency at a nearby hospital. The next day when we checked out, they also went out of their way to help us.

Despite that and the accident, I found the hotel helpful and we had a good time. The hotel is a bit dated and it looks like they are working through and updating the hotel public areas. We had booked a good deal on the Club rooms. They are very large rooms with large and comfortable bed, large desk that faces out towards the window. The bathroom is fairly standard and dated but fine. There was a huge choice of channels in many languages on the TV.

We had access to the Club lounge and went up there in the evening before going out for a drink (wine) and a few snacks, which had a limited selection but again was fine. We had the buffet breakfast included in our rate, and this was very varied and impressive.

The Illy coffee shop in the lobby served great coffees. The bar had a huge selection of cocktails, but was fairly pricey.

The location of the hotel was great and was able to walk to Grand Place and the Christmas Market area, and the hop-on hop-off bus tour stop is right outside the hotel as well.

A good stay.
