DoubleTree by Hilton Grand Key Key West Florida – Tips For Travellers Video Review

Watch my video review of the DoubleTree by Hilton Grand Key, Key West, Florida. The good and the not so good with tips for travellers looking to visit the area and the hotel.

I was unimpressed with the Doubletree hotel. Found the Front Desk staff disinterested and rather harassed. The rooms were fine I guess, but looked dated despite the supposedly recent renovation and they all (so the management told me) have interconnecting doors which I dislike and find noisy and not restful as you hear the people next door. The shuttle bus runs every hour which often means it was full or over crowded. At times they ran two and would be better to run them every half hour. The restaurant food was average in my view for the price. I just felt a lack of effort in all aspects as guess Key West is always busy and they did not have to try too hard. I would not recommend this hotel to  friends. I was travelling with a group and all agreed. Disappointing.
