Travel Podcast 98 : Portsmouth Historic Dockyard

Tips for Travellers PodcastIn episode 98 of the Tips for Travellers Podcast, I share my tips for travellers about visiting, and getting the most, out of the Portsmouth Historic Dockyard, home of some of the most famous and important battleships of the Royal Naval: HMS Warrior, HMS Victory and the 500 year old Mary Rose.

In the podcast I talk about this amazing place to visit, and talk in more detail about the Mary Rose Museum that was opened at the end of May 2013. It houses the remains of Henry VIII’s unique ship that was protected buried in silt for centuries. It also has thousands of items from the period on display.
