Something New For Cruise Fans From The Cruise Globe
If you’re anything like me, there’s one small thing you always bring home from a cruise. The Cruise Card!
But then I was not sure what to do with them. Until now, thanks to The Cruise Globe part of The Cruise Maps
As they have some ways to help remember and ensure fond memories and reminders of the cruise.
What Is The Cruise Globe?

Created by friends of mine — Will, Matt and Emma — The Cruise Globe is essentially a digital logbook for cruisers.
But it’s gone way beyond that. As you can log every cruise you’ve ever done, map your routes, track ships, and build a complete visual history of your cruising life in a stunning globe of the world. It’s one of those things that once you start using it, you suddenly realise just how much cruising you’ve actually done… and how addictive it becomes to keep updating it.
It’s available as a website and app, and it’s become a bit of a hub for cruise enthusiasts like me who want more than just memories — they want a record.
And now, they’ve taken that idea a step further into the real world with two physical and collectible items!
The Cruise Globe Cruise Cards

Instead of just keeping your old cruise card in a drawer, you can now order a beautifully designed Cruise Globe Cruise Card for each trip. These aren’t just decorative. They’re personalised to your specific sailing.
On each card, you’ll get your full route, along with your embarkation and disembarkation ports. But the clever part is the QR code. Scan it, and it takes you straight into that cruise on The Cruise Globe — your route, your journey, your history.
It turns a memory into something interactive.
I’ve started collecting mine and keeping them in an album, and I have to say, it’s becoming one of my favourite cruise keepsakes. It’s far more meaningful than just having the original Cruise Line Cruise Card used onboard, and it actually tells the story of the trip.
The Cruise Globe Ship Cards

And now they have launched these… which I suspect a lot of cruisers are going to get slightly obsessed with: Cruise Ship Cards.
These are individual cards for cruise ships themselves — and they’re packed with detail. Each one includes when the ship was launched, where it’s registered, passenger capacity, crew numbers, and how many decks it has.
But again, they’ve added a digital layer.
Scan the QR code, and it takes you straight to that ship on The Cruise Globe, where you can see where it is right now.
So suddenly, this isn’t just a static card. It’s a live connection to the ship.
If you’ve sailed on a ship you loved, you can keep a record of it. If you’re planning future cruises, you can start building a collection. And if you’re like many cruisers I know, there’s a real satisfaction in collecting ships you’ve sailed on.
These both gives you something physical, but connected. Something you can hold, but also revisit digitally whenever you want.
And that combination is what makes it so compelling.
How To Get Them (And A Small Bonus)
They’re very easy to order. If you head over to The Cruise Globe website or app, once you have signed up and added your cruises there’s a simple option to order directly via a small button on the lower right, it will bring up the Cruise Card for all your entered cruises, choose that and the next page shows all the Cruise Ship Cards for ships you have been on. Just a couple of clicks and you’re done.
They also sell a Cruise Card Album designed to neatly store your original Cruise Card, Cruise Globe Cruise Card, and Cruise Globe Ship Card.

And if you’re going to try them, there’s a small perk.
Use the code TFT at checkout and you’ll get 10% off your order.
I have a feeling these cards are something you will get into collecting as much as I have.
If you do try them, I’d be really interested to know what you think… and whether you end up as hooked on them as I am.
