Great Alaskan Lumberjack Show Ketchikan. See Why It Is An Alaska Must-See!
Here is some great fun to be had if you ever are in Ketchikan Alaska on an Alaska cruise! I recommend that you head to the Great Alaskan Lumberjack Show. It has become an institution and been running since 2000. It is not far from where the ships dock and they run several shows a day. I had a blast! I went on an excursion off Holland America Line Nieuw Amsterdam during my 7-night Insight Passage cruise and watched the four lumberjacks perform a series of impressive traditional tasks – all while competing USA versus Canada. The audience is divided into two and support one of the sides.
