Grand Canyon Helicopter Trip Review and Video Tour

Grand Canyon: Mark, Me and our Mums

Grand Canyon: Mark, Me and our Mums

Watch the video tour that I made of the amazing helicopter trip we did with Maverick Helicopters from Las Vegas to the Grand Canyon.

The tour takes half the day and we first flew to an airstrip at the top of the canyon after flying over Hoover Dam. Some of the passengers got off and we then flew right down into the basin of the Grand Canyon where we had time to take pictures and explore. We then flew back up to the airstrip and caught a shuttle bus to the Sky walk (a glass platform that sticks some 70 feet over the side of the canyon). Then time to fly back to Las Vegas. Maverick were excellent and the pilot a star – very entertaining and engaging.

The best way to explain the wonder of the Grand Canyon and the flight is in pictures and so watch the video and enjoy the selection of photos below.
