UNESCO World Heritage Rhine Valley Germany

Join me as I explore the UNESCO World Heritage Rhine Valley in Germany. This is a 67 kilometre stretch of the river between Rudesheim to Koblenz full of quaint towns, hiking sweeping countryside and majestic castles and fortresses. I visited places like Rudesheim, Oberwesel and Koblenz. Many of the places on my journey are listed as among Germany’s Top 100 Sights.

UNESCO Rhine Valley. What to see, what to do and why. In this article I discuss the 67 kilometres along the Rhine that is a UNESCO World Heritage site. I review what there is to see and do, and why I recommend you visit on land and not just as a small part of a longer Rhine River cruise.
