Watch my video overview and review of the The Westin Cape Coral Resort at Marina Village Florida. The good and the not so good. See it in my video.

I also wrote a short review of the hotel which said:

I liked the Westin a lot. I stayed here with a group as part of a tour of Florida from the UK and this was the highlight hotel of the trip. Despite being an enormous hotel they managed to make me feel welcome. Although the room I stayed in (a traditional room 511) had an interconnecting door (which I do not like in hotels but apparently they all have them) the bedroom has its own door so even if there is next door noise you can shield from it. I did not hear any. The room was large, felt upmarket and had extremely comfortable bed. The bathroom was large and again had a high level of finish to it. The fitness centre was fine but could do with more weight machines. The main pool had friendly staff. This hotel attracts families and there were lots of kids so not really ideal for a romantic couple break. The grounds and Marina were beautiful. I liked staying here.

I stayed here while on a Titan Travel “Best of Florida” escorted tour. For more on the tour visit http://bit.ly/TitanFlorida
