Travel Icons and Legends. Get a free audio book podcast and free eBook of the travel book I am writing!

The stories behind the most famous forms of transportation and the classic journeys on them.

I have always been intrigued by everything related to travel, and my Tips for Travellers blog and podcast hopefully shows that! On this blog I focus on looking at luxurious travel experiences. I write about exciting international destinations, luxury accommodation, premium class travel, luxurious tours, must-see attractions and classic travel journeys.

I am now turning my passion for transportation to write about the exciting, interesting and remarkable stories and legends that swirl around them. The book is about global travel icons and legends. Icons that have excited and enthralled travelers across the years. Legends that have been built up and shared by travelers and enthusiasts.

Travel Icons and Legends will feature stories of some of the best known travel icons like the Cunard Queen Elizabeth, Air Force One, Titanic, Orient Express through to travel enablers like the Channel Tunnel.

Gary Bembridge

I grew up in Zimbabwe, but I have been based in London since 1987. My travel life spans more than three decades and that includes more than 95 cruises. In 2005, I launched Tips for Travellers to make it easy and fun for people to discover, plan and enjoy incredible cruise vacations. And the rest, as they say, is history. I have the largest cruise vlogger channel currently on YouTube, with more than 3 million video views per month.
