Cunard Queen Mary 2 Queens Grill versus MSC Preziosa Yacht Club. This article was one I wrote for MyTravelMoney.co.uk and compares the premium offer on these 2 very different cruise lines to see which is better.

Daniel (the MD of MyTravelMoney.co.uk ) is someone that I have got to know through my blogging – and also travels. We were both on the Christmas and New Year Queen Mary 2 cruise from New York to the Caribbean. He and his family are long time fans of Cunard and the Queens Grill offer. As I am too – as regular readers of the blog will know. He was intrigued by how positive I was about my experience on the MSC Preziosa when I was invited to travel in their premium MSC Cruises Yacht Club suites and area for the maiden voyage.

He was so intrigued that he asked me to write an article for their blog comparing the 2 experiences focused on 5 areas:

  1. Food
  2. Entertainment
  3. Crew
  4. Exclusitivity
  5. Cabins

We did not discuss in detail the difference in cost, as Cunard is more premium than MSC and positioned as a more up-market / prestige line and MSC is supposed to be more mainstream and accessible.

I was quite surprised at how and what I rated each of them for – and the results based on having a “winner” for each section…..

Read the article and my conclusions, which may surprise in some areas:
