Lalnalrd Tea YT copyEric Lanlard is a well-known cake maker for the stars, author and TV celebrity chef, known to make as “Cake Boy”. He is one of P&O Cruises “Food Heros” for their Britannia cruise ship. One of the features on sea days is the Eric Lanlard Afternoon Tea at the Epicurean on P&O Cruises Britannia. The treats I had at it were Smoked Duck Breast, Raspberry and Cucumber in a Dark Chocolate Macaroon; Smoked Salmon and Keta in Spinach Bread with Creme Fraiche and Black Pepper; Cherry Tomato and Baby Mozzarella Tart; Dark Chocolate Cannelloni with Carmelised Apple; Lemon Meringue Trifle; Pistachio and Strawberry Tart; Financier Cake infused with Lemon and Cardamon and Traditional and Golden Raisin Scones with Clotted Cream. There is a charge of £15 for the tea.
