Revealing the Sinful Italian Cakes and Pastries in the Piazza del Doge on board MSC Divina. Reason to come on board alone?

MSC Divina Piazza Del Doge Cakes

If you are looking for a reason to cruise on the MSC Divina I think I may have discovered one on my exploration of the ship: the totally sinful looking and completely gorgeous tasting Italian cakes and pastries in the Piazze Del Doge!

The Piazza Del Doge on board MSC Divina becomes a popular meeting place during a cruise as more people discover its guilty pleasures. This large space is surrounded by a circular feature wall of columns and arches and has a twilight ceiling of small sparkling lights to create a magical atmosphere. In the centre of the piazza passengers meet to drink freshly made Segafredo coffees and indulge in sumptuous cakes, pastries and eclairs inspired by the best Italian bakers. As in the piazzas of the famous and classical Italian cities like Venice, Florence and Rome, people are drawn here all day by the opportunity to catch up with friends to share stories surrounded by the smell of freshly made coffee and the sight and taste of delicious cakes. The Piazza is like a magnet for anyone with time to spare and a passion for coffee and cake.

Below is just a small selection of the wicked cakes made by the master (and sinful) bakers on board the MSC Divina that are exclusively available in the Piazza Del Doge. I think they are a reason to come on board the ship in their own right. Do you?

IT LOOKS ABSOLUTELY LOVELY, HOWEVER, IT IS A PITY THAT THE MSC SINFONIA AND MSC MELODY , DID NOT SERVE ANYTHING NEAR TO THAT.

We are traveling on the MSC Divina next year. I’ve seen there lovely desserts all over the internet. I’m just curious, is it included in the “free dining” or do you pay for it separately?
