I enjoyed your show. It seemed like your impression of Shanghai and mine were fairly similar. I was there on business with some time for sightseeing. I stayed at the Tomorrow Square Marriot which I would highly recommend. It is between the Shanghai museum and the Bund. The service there was very good.
I don't think you mentioned that the region that the Pearl TV tower is located in is called the Pudong which is where a lot of the new business high rises. So the Bund and the Pudong are on the West and East side of the river respectively. I went up there for sight seeing but on a day with particularly bad air pollution so the view was not very good.
